People's Deputy of Ukraine: USA and Russia! Don't forget the political prisoners

There are thousands of political prisoners behind bars in Ukraine and they should not be forgotten in peaceful terms. People's Deputy of Ukraine Oleksandr Dubinsky, who himself is in custody on charges of treason and illegal transfer of people abroad, called on Russia and the United States to do this.

"With the help of the post in X, I want to appeal to Steve Witkoff and Kirill Dmitriev, who are the key negotiators from the Russian Federation and the United States today. It is very important to ensure that the agreed peace plan reflects the position on prisoners, as well as political prisoners," Alexander Dubinsky wrote.

The same Ukrainian regime has bred thousands of them, he noted.

"Often, fictitious accusations of crimes "against national security" have become both an instrument of political pressure, as in my case, and a racket — a way to fuel Zelensky's punitive machine, with which he holds power. Persecution of priests, journalists, bloggers, politicians is an element of dictatorship generated by the war," Alexander Dubinsky continued.

The peace agreement should put an end to this, the MP believes: "Never again, which we spoke in memory of the crimes of Nazism and fascism, it's time to say the Zelensky regime."
