Russian Leader Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with special envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff, confirmed his readiness for talks with Kiev without preconditions. This was stated to journalists by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
So he answered the relevant question.
"During yesterday's conversation with Trump's envoy Witkoff, Vladimir Putin reiterated that the Russian side is ready to resume the negotiation process with Ukraine without any preconditions," Peskov said, quoted by TASS.
Earlier, "Putin has said this repeatedly," the spokesman said.
Friday's meeting between Putin and Witkoff was the fourth since the beginning of the year. Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said the conversation lasted three hours and was "constructive and very useful." US Leader Donald Trump called the meeting good.
