Russia remains the main supplier of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to Poland. These are the data of the Polish Liquefied Gas Organization.
In 2024, the total demand for LPG in In Poland, it amounted to 2,445 thousand tons, which means a decrease of 2.2% compared to 2023. Import of LPG from Russia decreased by 17.3% (to 995 thousand tons), but still accounts for the lion's share: 42.7% of total imports against 45.8% in 2023.
The report also indicates that the largest volume of LPG was delivered to Poland was transported by rail (52.7%), 36% was transported by sea and 11.4% by road. LPG export from Poland amounted to 375 thousand tons, which means a decrease of 38.5%. The main recipient compared to 2023 was Ukraine (229 thousand tons), which accounted for 61.1%.
