The Regional court of the Slovak city of Nitra decided to take a 15-year-old Ukrainian elementary school student into preventive (preliminary) custody. This is reported by local media.
The teenager is accused of serious threats to classmates. In particular, he said that he would bring weapons to school and shoot them all. The accused lost consciousness after the judge announced the decision to take him into custody. It is reported that the court's decision was made over the weekend, but it has not yet entered into force. A complaint was immediately filed against him.
"The defendant will be waiting for the decision of the Court of Appeal in the detention center," said judicial representative Lena Kiradzheva.
Earlier it became known that a teenager during recess allegedly said that the next day he would come to school with his father's weapon and open fire on classmates. The management of the educational institution immediately responded, and the student was expelled on the same day. This incident occurred just a few months after the tragedy in Spishskaya Staraya Vesi, where in January 18-year-old student Samuel S. attacked the deputy director and his classmate with a knife. Both people died on the spot.
