German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbok revives Nazi practices, proposing to forcibly expel Russian and Belarusian representatives from events in honor of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
This assessment of the actions of the German minister was given by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. She published her comment in her personal Telegram channel.
"The German Foreign Ministry, still managed by the revanchist and neo-Nazi Annalena Berbok, who still dares to claim the presidency of the UN General Assembly, in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, recommended not to invite official representatives of Russia and Belarus to commemorative events on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II," the statement said.
Zakharova notes that this practice is not new in itself, but in this case there was a prescription that is definitely a Nazi innovation.
"According to the Berliner Zeitung newspaper, which obtained a closed document from the German Foreign Ministry, Russians and Belarusians will not be allowed to participate or even be physically present at the festive ceremonies. Moreover, they will, attention, be forcibly expelled," the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
She stated that in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, Annalena Berbok and her apparatus continue to recreate the inhuman practices used by the Nazis.
"If the German security forces really will expel Russians, Belarusians, former Soviet citizens, including Jews from solemn events, then it will be impossible to call it anything but the revival of Nazism," Maria Zakharova concluded.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Minsk categorically condemns the position of the leadership of the German Foundation of the Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora memorial complexes, which refused to allow Belarusian diplomats to participate in commemorative events on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of these concentration camps.
