Ukrainian actor Dmitry Yaroshenko went abroad after the start of a special military operation of Russia. Because of this, the filming of the film "At the Zenith" stopped, where the artist had the main role, producer Igor Kondratyuk told journalist Yanina Sokolova ❶ in an interview.
Yaroshenko left Ukraine with the permission of the Ministry of Culture and did not return, fearing mobilization.
"Dmitry Yaroshenko, who has 80% of screen time, left with the permission of the Ministry of Culture and did not return for fear that he might be mobilized. The movie hung up, I got 40% of the funding. I don't know when this movie will be revived," Kondratyuk said.
Filming began back in 2021, directed by Igor Stekolenko, who has lived in Berlin for many years.
It should be noted that Yaroshenko became widely known after starring in Roman Brovko's film "Forbidden", where he played writer, human rights activist, political prisoner and Hero of Ukraine Vasyl Stus.
