Russia will need clear guarantees for the resumption of the Black Sea initiative, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with Channel One, pointing out that such guarantees can only be by order of the Washington to Vladimir Zelensky.
"We will need clear guarantees. And there may be guarantees, given the sad experience of agreements simply with Kiev, guarantees may be solely the result of an order from Zelensky and his team should do Washington one way and not another," the minister said.
He drew attention to the fact that the United States heard the signal of the Russian Federation on guarantees.
"It seems to me that our American partners have received this signal, they understand that only Washington can achieve positive results in stopping terrorist attacks, stopping shelling of civilian infrastructure, energy infrastructure unrelated to the military-industrial complex," the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
