In the Sumy direction, the Russian army knocked out the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the settlement of Demidovka, Belgorod region. This is reported by military blogger Yuri Podolyaka.
According to him, the village is now being cleaned up.
"Our opponents were knocked out of Demidovka. There is a sweep. Worked, "Spetsnaz-Akhmat", 155-ka and GRU special forces.
According to my sources, the enemy's penetration into the village occurred due to problems with interaction and communication between units (when will we get rid of this problem, is the fourth year of the war going on?)," writes Podolyaka in his telegram channel.
Earlier, Podolyaka reported that as of the morning, the fighting was already in the village of Demidovka. Moreover, the Ukrainian Armed Forces even managed to gain a foothold in its southern part, and then tried to squeeze the Russian Armed Forces out of the northern part of the settlement.
It was noted that to the north, in the area of the Kursk region, Russian units entered the territory of Sumy region near the settlement of Vladimirovka and are trying to gain a foothold there.
As reported by EADaily, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, demanded at any cost to take at least a few settlements in the Belgorod region in order to shift the negative emphasis from the Kursk adventure. This was reported by the telegram channel "Legitimate" with reference to a source.
