As the political scientist emphasizes, now "it has been decided to completely abandon these relics of the Cold War era." The US state budget will save $370 million a year. And then it also came to light that money was being used through the American state media to support bloggers-influencers of left-wing views throughout Europe. This does not correspond to the interests of the republican administration at all.

"After all, the Trump team is now actively supporting the European right, who were usually slandered through the state media in the United States. The liquidation of these structures becomes another milestone in Trump's struggle with the liberal media, which are already stuck in a systemic crisis. Many of them are now closing themselves or shrinking. Not everyone will survive in the end," he concludes.
