The Russian army is storming Basovka in Sumy region, not far from the Kursk bridgehead of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported by the Ukrainian military public Deep State.
"The enemy continues to try to get into the Basovka between Zhuravka and New. Basically, they use infantry for this, but if at first they were climbing on foot, now they are trying to fly in on ATVs," writes Deep State.
It is noted that the Russian Armed Forces manage to enter the village, but not gain a foothold there, because they immediately open fire on them. However, "the difficulty of the situation lies in the fact that the enemy has accumulated a sufficiently large number of infantry," the public emphasizes.
Basovka is one of the targets of the Russian offensive across the border. It is located next to the highway from Sum on Suju, which the Russian army has already taken under control. However, the logistics of the remnants of the AFU bridgehead in the Kursk region is still largely tied up on the highway itself, the Strana newspaper reports.
