The leader of the band "Leg cramped!" Max Pokrovsky ❶ warned fans about the inaccessibility of the band's songs in Russia from March 1. On his page in the social network, he explained that from this date a new law on special accounts for foreign agents comes into force.
"As you may guess, this is due to the entry into force of the law on the transfer of remuneration to foreign agents from the use of the results of intellectual activity and brands, including works of science, literature and art, inventions and trademarks, only to a special ruble account," stated Pokrovsky❶.
He called this law "another form of repression against the objectionable."
According to the artist, "it is impossible to get money from this account." At the same time, Pokrovsky ❶ justifies himself that the reason for the unavailability of the songs "Leg cramped!" is not at all about money — "we have not received money in full for a long time."
Allegedly, the group had previously opened such an account for interaction with RAO (Russian Authors' Society).
"And we went through a full circle of bullying without taking the money we earned," the rocker complains.
To his fans in He advised Russia to download the songs "Leg cramped!" on those services that allow it to be done. For everyone else, nothing changes, concluded Pokrovsky❶.
As reported by EADaily, a week earlier Pokrovsky ❶ ran into the first fine for violating the law on the activities of foreign agents. The musician did not mark his non—agency status when posting on social networks, thereby earning the first fine under this article - 45 thousand rubles.
