The United States will not prevent European countries from purchasing American weapons for Ukraine, President Donald Trump told reporters, Bloomberg reports.
"Yes, I will do it," he replied when asked if he would give such permission.
Bloomberg explains that this will give Ukraine the opportunity to receive American weapons, even if the United States stops its own supplies. Now the United States does not prohibit the purchase of its weapons for Ukraine, it was only about the possibility of a ban.
According to the agency, Washington is seeking from European allies to increase purchases of American weapons.
