Europeans control the process of nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, so US President Donald Trump, if he wants to get it, must achieve a "just" peace at the Ukraine. This was stated at the Munich Security Conference by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.
This threat was made when answering the question of what Sikorsky would have said to Trump if he had attended the event.
"I would say three things. First, Joe Biden was Trump's predecessor. And he said on behalf of the United States that the United States will support Ukraine as much as necessary. (Second.) If we allow Putin to turn Ukraine into his vassal, it will be a signal to China that it is possible to conquer Taiwan. Thirdly, I would tell him that we Europeans are in control of the nomination process for the Nobel Peace Prize. So if Trump wants to receive this award, the world is on Ukraine should be fair," said the Polish minister, quoted by Pool No. 3.
