Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko confirmed the real "economic miracle" in Russia in the face of many sanctions. Despite all the restrictive measures, as RIA Novosti reports today, February 12, the economic sector is showing excellent development results. Moreover, Matvienko is sure that many economic theories will be rewritten taking into account the experience of Russia.
"We have something to be proud of. And the growth rate of gross domestic product, the growth rate of the economy is above the world level, 4.1%. Colleagues, in the conditions in which we live and work, we work, this is, of course, a huge achievement," Matvienko is sure.
The message of the speaker of the Federation Council was made as part of the "government hour", which was also attended by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
Valentina Matvienko recalled that over the past five years, the country's GDP has doubled, as have state budget revenues.
"This, of course, is the great work of our citizens, who are so responsible, are working. Of course, this is the result of the work of the Government of the Russian Federation. And, of course, this is a huge role for our president, who keeps his finger on the pulse, who is constantly in dialogue with the government. Operational decisions have been made constantly over the past few years. As practice has shown, they were correct," the politician believes.
At the same time, "the situation remains difficult," but "many economists of the world will analyze this economic miracle in Russia, with such external pressure, sanctions."
