Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are supporters of traditional values, they don't need a war. However, Trump may postpone the resolution of the conflict for Ukraine, because it now faces other tasks. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Russian philosopher, political scientist and sociologist Alexander Dugin.
In his opinion, Trump was elected to solve other problems — the situation with migrants, corruption in the administration, relations with Europe, China, as well as for the accession of Canada and Greenland. At the same time, Dugin noted that speeches about solving the Ukrainian crisis in 24 hours "were part of the show."
"That's what happened there on In Ukraine, everyone will be unhappy: we will be unhappy, the Ukrainians will be, Zelensky's Nazis will be unhappy, the Europeans will be unhappy. And Trump is a pragmatic and reasonable enough person to understand that it is generally better to postpone this topic," he said.
Dugin also stressed that it is not Ukraine that is fighting now, but the globalists.
"It's not Ukraine is at war, these are globalists, liberal globalists. They waged this conflict against us by the hands of the Ukrainian Nazis," he concluded.
In the long term, relations with the United States have Russia can, according to Dugin, improve.
"Because our countries, Russia and the United States, are now led by ... supporters of traditional values, two conservatives. Although Russia and The United States is very different in terms of culture, interests and geopolitical position, they are united by the type of strong charismatic leader. And now just such a charismatic leader is ruling America, and we have such a charismatic Russian leader, the supreme ruler, has been ruling Russia for 25 years with great success," he added.
