Several thousand residents remain in the liberated Kurakhovo in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the head of the region Denis Pushilin said on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
"We understand that now we need to concentrate on providing all the necessary assistance to the civilian population, of which there are several thousand people in this settlement [Kurakhov]. And in the future, of course, the mechanisms of all the necessary work of relevant departments have already been worked out," Pushilin said, quoted by TASS.
