The Office of the President (OP) of Ukraine is planning a big tour of Vladimir Zelensky around the world after the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump. This is reported by the telegram channel "Resident" with reference to sources.
In particular, Zelensky wants to organize visits to the countries of the Global South in order to persuade them to take part in a new "peace summit" on Ukraine.
"Our sources in the OP reported that the president's office is planning Zelensky's big tour of world countries after Trump's inauguration. At Bankova, they want to organize presidential trips to the countries of the Global South in order to strengthen Ukraine's position in the international arena and gather participants for a peace summit, which they could not organize at the end of 2024," the TC writes.
As EADaily reported at the end of December, Switzerland does not plan to hold a second "peace conference" on Ukraine, the leadership of the confederation switched to preparing for ceasefire negotiations.
This was reported by Izvestia with reference to the Swiss Foreign Ministry. They stated that Bern continues to maintain contacts with all interested parties.
