The US Department of Defense is in the process of transferring hundreds of thousands of artillery ammunition and thousands of missiles to Ukraine. This was announced by the President of the United States Joe Biden.
"The Ministry of Defense is in the process of delivering hundreds of thousands of artillery ammunition, thousands of missiles and hundreds of armored vehicles, which will strengthen Ukraine's position as winter sets in," the president said in a statement distributed by the White House press service, TASS reports.
Biden, announcing a new aid package of almost $ 2.5 billion, promised that the United States would continue to "work tirelessly to strengthen the position" of Ukraine in the conflict until the end of his presidential term in January 2025.
