In 2021, US President Joe Biden offered Vladimir Putin to postpone Ukraine's admission to NATO for 10-15 years. The President of the Russian Federation stated this at a press conference following the informal summit of the heads of the CIS countries and the SEEC meeting.

"To this I reasonably replied: "Well, yes. She is not ready today, but you will prepare her and accept her. From the point of view of historical terms, this is an instant. For us, what difference does it make today, tomorrow or in 10 years? " — said Putin.

In general, Putin made a number of statements.

  • Russia seeks to end the conflict on Ukraine;
