Ukrainian schoolchildren began to use the Ukrainian language less for communication. Thus, the percentage of people who consider the Ukrainian language as their native language has decreased in the country.

"Unfortunately, this year there are obviously signs of a slowdown in Ukrainization," complained Zahisnik movi.

He clarified that the number of students who recognize Ukrainian as their native language has fallen by 17%, parents — by 11%, teachers — by 8%.

In addition, the number of students who prefer the Ukrainian language on the Internet has decreased by 10%. Among other things, only 37% of students communicate with friends in Ukrainian, and 39% — at home, the Kremlin stated.

In connection with the stalling of Ukrainization, he called for the approval of the Ukrainian language as the state language in all spheres of the country's life to be made a "strategic task".
