Air Tanzania has been banned from flying to and from the European Union. This is reported by Gazeta. But why did the European Commission make such a decision?
The European Commission has expanded the blacklist of air carriers, which now includes Air Tanzania and 128 other operators that are banned from flying to and from the European Union. The relevant information was confirmed by the press service of the Aviation Security Agency of the European Union.
The report says that the carrier does not meet international safety standards. Exclusion from the list will occur only after Air Tanzania takes the necessary actions to achieve full compliance with international aviation standards.
EADaily reminds that the European blacklist of air carriers also includes 29 airlines from Russia.
