Minsk hopes for the resumption of fruitful and constructive cooperation between Belarus and Georgia. This is stated in the congratulation of Alexander Lukashenko Mikhail Kavelashvili on his election as President of Georgia.
"I am convinced that the resumption of fruitful and constructive interaction between our countries will contribute to the further strengthening of bilateral relations between Belarus and Georgia. I wish you good health, successful implementation of plans and new achievements for the benefit of your Fatherland," the message of greetings reads.
On December 14, Mikhail Kavelashvili was elected the new President of Georgia.
