The aircraft of the tactical aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was shot down by means of the Russian air defense forces (air defense) north of Kherson.
This was reported on December 14 by the TASS news agency, referring to a statement by the head of the press service of the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Vasilenko.
"A tactical aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was shot down north of Kherson by air defense forces," the statement said.
Earlier, an aviation hazard was announced in the Kherson region. Operational services have been put on high alert.
It is also known that over the past 24 hours, the Russian air defense forces have shot down six HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems manufactured by the United States and 60 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported today by the press service of the military department.
