Concert of the Soviet and Latvian singer Laima Vaikule on Tenerife (Spain), which was scheduled for December 15, was canceled. The relevant information has been published on the international ticket sales portal.
"Laima Vaikule is a legendary Latvian singer who has won the hearts of millions of fans around the world. Her concerts in Germany with the Rendezvous program are a real celebration of music and beauty," the event's lush announcement says.
At the same time, the singer's December concerts in Germany were also canceled without explanation. A show in Spain was to take place immediately after them.
Less than half of the tickets for the singer's Spanish concert were sold out, the portal clarifies. MK.ru . Initially, the Rendezvous concert was scheduled for October 11, but tickets were not sold — and the event was postponed for two months. However, this did not help either, despite the quite acceptable ticket price in Europe — € 49 — € 119.
As EADaily reported, the artist had three concerts scheduled — in Berlin, Bremen and Offenbach on December 9, 10 and 12, respectively. All three concerts were cancelled. Neither the organizers nor the singer herself explained the cancellation of the event in any way on social networks.
At the same time, back in mid-October, the producer and organizer of the concerts, Sergey Lavrov, predicted that these events would remain unclaimed. According to him, "Laima Vaikule" has never sold well.
