There will be a failure: tickets for concerts of the "breadwinner of the USSR" Vaikule in Germany are not for sale

In December, the Soviet and Latvian singer Laima Vaikule, who has repeatedly demonstrated her Russophobic position, has scheduled three concerts in German cities. However, the producer and organizer of the concerts, Sergey Lavrov, believes that these events will remain out of demand.

"Laima Vaikule has never "sold" well. Only in In the Soviet Union, they went to her concerts, and then only for the reason that they went to everyone at all. Moreover, Raymond Pauls wrote compositions for her," the producer told the Paragraph portal.

He added that tickets for Vaikule concerts for 20 years since 2000 could not be sold "anywhere and never", a lot of events had to be canceled.

"If an artist is interesting, he is interesting everywhere. Theoretically, only the Russian-speaking public can go to Lime in Europe. And she's in Russia treated her coolly," Lavrov stated.

The producer also noted that Latvians do not know Vaikule either.

"She is to them like Svetlana Loboda to the Americans. Even the Vaikule Rendezvous festival sold terribly. The audience came to certain artists, but not to Lime. This year everything was really bad for her. She will definitely not be able to sell tickets in Germany," Lavrov concluded.

According to the publication, last weekend Vaikule's concert was canceled on Tenerife (Spain). The reason is still the same — poor ticket sales.

As EADaily reported, Vaikule's business partner intends to take part of the Russian business from her through the court, which is still working. Back in the early 2000s, Vaikule and businessman Shiraz Mammadov created the LaimaLux Group company, whose Russian branch, Laima-Lux Rus LLC, has been operating to this day. The company is engaged in beauty salons and the sale of cosmetics, furniture and other accessories. The founders of LLC are Laimalukss SIA and Mammadov.

In August 2022, Vaikule transferred her stake to Mammadov. She has 49%, he has 51%. Now, in September 2024, Mammadov filed a lawsuit to exclude Laimalukss SIA from the membership of the society.
