People's Artist of the USSR, holder of the Moldavian Order of the Republic, hero and national legend of Ukraine Sofia Rotaru decided to sell a three-room apartment in Moscow, which was allocated to the singer "almost for nothing." This is reported by "Express newspaper".

The announcement of the sale of an apartment on Zoologicheskaya Street was noticed by fans of the actress on one of the portals about real estate objects.

"This is an unusually spacious and at the same time cozy apartment with a very bright energy. Primary documents of the basis of the right (the apartment belongs to one family since the construction of the house). Rooms 30+19+16 . Kitchen-dining room 16 meters. Huge loggia. The uniqueness of the apartment is also that it belongs to a very famous artist. Quick exit to the deal. One adult owner. No one is registered. The keys are on hand. Show at any convenient time," the announcement says.

It is also noted that the property is located in the "heart of Moscow, in the historical center."

Initially, 70 million rubles were asked for the apartment, but later the cost was reduced to 65 million rubles. So far, since October 24, there have been no people willing to buy an elite apartment from a famous actress.

The concert director of the singer Olga Konyakhina confirmed that the apartment really belongs to Rotar.

"According to rumors, the then mayor of Moscow, Yuri Luzhkov, helped Rotaru to acquire it. At some event, he got into conversation with her and found out that when she came to Moscow, she was staying at a hotel. "How so? Such a person — and does not have his own place?“ Yuri Mikhailovich was surprised. And he ordered her to allocate this apartment on some very preferential terms - almost for nothing," she said.

Konyakhina noted that she is not surprised by the fact of the sale of this apartment, since Rotaru herself is unlikely to ever come here, and the property has been empty for several years.

"Another question is who will buy it? Not everyone will like such a trace at the apartment. This person must love Sofia Mikhailovna very much in order to be proud that he lives in her apartment. And among the rich people who can afford it, I'm afraid there are no such people," Konyakhina concluded.

As EADaily reported, Rotaru has been trying to get rid of the Villa Sofia boutique hotel in Yalta for the last few months. Initially, 2.2 billion rubles were asked for a luxury hotel. Rotaru rented the villa for 20 years in 1991, and in 2005 she managed to transfer it to ownership. Since 2020, the facility has been closed for renovation.

The hotel was planned to be nationalized and given to the needs of the Wedding Palace. It was reported that the proceeds from the sale of the villa would be directed to the needs of the special military operation fighters, but Senator from Crimea Sergey Tsekov offered to make a registry office there.

The public organization "Veterans of Russia" sent an appeal to the Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov with a request to obtain the seizure of the mansion through the court in order to create a hospital and sanatorium for special military operation fighters in it.
