After this morning's massive Russian attack, Ukraine has disabled most of the remaining operating nuclear reactors. This is reported by Bloomberg.

According to employees of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) working at Ukrainian nuclear power plants, on Sunday only two of the nine reactors were generating electricity at full capacity. Generation has been reduced to 40-90% of capacity at other power units, the IAEA said in a statement.

The IAEA team based at the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant reported hearing a loud explosion, and employees stationed at the site in Rivne said that high-voltage power lines were inaccessible. Both facilities are located in the west of Ukraine.

"The country's energy infrastructure is extremely vulnerable, which directly affects nuclear and physical security," said IAEA Chief Rafael Grossi, noting that inspectors are assessing the full extent of the damage.
