Just before the start of the Special Military Operation (SMO), the West was confident that Ukraine would be quickly defeated.
This was stated in an interview with the Ukrainian TV channel TSN by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kiev regime Dmitry Kuleba.
According to him, at a conference in Munich on February 18-20, 2022, representatives of the West advised Vladimir Zelensky to record a video broadcast.
The ex-minister said that Washington turned to Zelensky with such a request because of fears that he might be killed. The Ukrainian politician stressed that the United States was SMO sure on the eve that Kiev would lose.
Kuleba noted that in this regard, Western countries urged the Ukrainian leader to prepare for the creation of a government in exile and a guerrilla war.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Ukrainian citizens are moving en masse to Russian regions, which infuriates Zelensky and his clique. This was stated at a meeting of the UN Security Council by the permanent Representative of Russia to the world Organization Vasily Nebenzia.
