The leading opposition Democratic Party of the Republic of Korea, Toburo, said it could initiate the impeachment of South Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun if even one South Korean military specialist is sent to Ukraine without the consent of Parliament. This was reported by Yonhap news agency.
"Article 60 of the Constitution states that the National Assembly gives consent to the deployment of armed forces abroad. Sending even one person is considered a deployment abroad. Earlier, South Korean media, citing government and intelligence sources, reported that the Republic of Korea was allegedly considering the possibility of sending Ukraine of military specialists.
