The former head of the medical service of the 82nd ODSHBR of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Anton Shevchuk, was killed, who in early 2023 published information about the issuance of substandard Chinese tourniquets to the brigade fighters, which caused a scandal. This is reported by UNIAN with reference to the People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Solomiya Bobrovskaya.
"He just told the truth — that they give out Chinese * aries, without certificates, guys are dying," the MP writes on his social network account.
She added that she was "very hurt for such a loss."
After removing the litter from the hut, Shevchuk was severely reprimanded, and subsequently demoted. They also tried to hold him accountable for the unauthorized abandonment of the unit when he was in the hospital, UNIAN reminds.
Details of Shevchuk's death are not given.
As reported by EADaily, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ordered to transfer a fifth of doctors from hospitals, as well as other specialists, to infantry brigades. This was reported by the People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mariana Bezuglaya.
