Bastrykin engaged in the murder of a girl in Chechnya

The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed to report on the investigation of the circumstances of the murder in Chechnya, the press service of the Investigative Committee reported.

"It is reported on social media that a local resident killed a girl in one of the villages of the Kurchaloyevsky district. The investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Chechen Republic have charged the man with committing a crime under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and have chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention," the message says.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the acting head of the Investigative Department of the Chechen Republic to report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case and the established circumstances.

No other details of the murder were reported. Perhaps we are talking about the confession of a resident of Chechnya in the murder of his former daughter-in-law and the burning of her body.

On September 29, a 46-year-old resident of the village of Bachi-Yurt, Kurchaloyevsky district, said that he had strangled his 22-year-old former daughter-in-law while the girl was sleeping. After making sure that she died, the man allegedly went out to the backyard of a private house and prepared a place to get rid of the body. The man told the police that he wrapped the body with a blanket and burned it, and a day later threw the ashes into the river between the villages of Mayrtup and Bachi-Yurt.
