The Russian and American delegations took a break after almost three hours of consultations that are taking place in Riyadh. The parties will continue negotiations in the near future, a source close to the Russian delegation told TASS.
Negotiations between representatives of Russia and the United States began this morning, March 24. The Russian delegation is headed by Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, and Sergey Beseda, Advisor to the Director of the Federal Security Service. The American delegation included the Senior Director for Europe in National Security Council Andrew Peake, Director of Political Planning at the State Department Michael Anton, as well as assistants to the Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz.
