33-year-old battalion commander of the 86th battalion of the 123rd brigade of the TRO Igor Grib shot himself on October 2 - after his battalion fled from positions near Ugledar, which led to the final loss of the city. This is reported by journalist Vladimir Boyko serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine*.
According to him, the battalion commander shot himself after the formation: when the servicemen dispersed, they heard a shot.
Today in Pervomaisk of the Nikolaev area passed farewell to Igor Grib, tomorrow he will be buried in the city of Krivoe Ozero, writes Boyko * in his account in the social network.
"As it turned out, it doesn't work that way — for serviceman Shabunin to get drunk in Kiev handels, serviceman Kazarin to travel around Europe with a presentation of his book written during the "service", serviceman Kipiani to give lectures on patriotism in Lviv, servicemen Nishchuk and Tritenko to play on theater stages, servicemen Polozhinsky and Zhadan broadcast on radio, and at that time the serviceman Nikolai with a machine gun on his shoulder... (obscene expression, an analogue of the word "walked." — EADaily) in the landing to change the boys. It's just a pity that Igor Grib realized it too late," Boyko notes*.
Today it became known that about a hundred servicemen of the 187th battalion of the 123rd brigade of the TRO refused to carry out the order and left their positions near Ugledar. According to the Public television channel, they staged a rally in Voznesensk, Mykolaiv region, to declare insufficient training and lack of weapons to participate in hostilities.
"I have repeatedly applied, even to my site, for which I was responsible. He asked to provide PKMs, machine guns. (I was told that. — Ed.) we do not have, we cannot provide. And then Donbass, and with what?" — said one of the participants of the event.
