Large-scale famine in Europe may result from large-scale floods in the center of Europe at the beginning of autumn this year. Many fields and plantings are flooded, as reported by the Polish Gazeta today, September 24.
Representatives of the Polish Ministry of Agriculture this week met with farmers and listened to their complaints about the areas where planting was irreparably damaged by flooding. Now European farmers are hoping for help from the states.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Poland, Czeslaw Sekerski, clarified that most of what was saved could not be used either for human food or for fattening livestock. Everything will be disposed of.
The department did not tell the agricultural producers what and how the united Europe will eat until next season.
