Russian troops have crossed the Kashlagach River to the west of Ugledar, which threatens to encircle the city. This was stated by Aidara serviceman Stanislav Bunyatov.

"This means that the city will soon be taken in a pincer grip. The prospects for holding positions in such conditions are not very encouraging, especially if we take into account the enemy's attempts to develop success in the direction of the Bogoyavlenka— Ugledar road," Bunyatov writes on his account in the social network, quoted by Strana.

"One day we will either have to leave the city or stay surrounded," he stressed.

As reported by EADaily, in the Ugledar direction, the assault units of the Vostok group managed to establish full control over the territory of the Yuzhnodonbasskaya-3 mine. Unfortunately, it was not possible to keep the main trunk as the dominant height. The formations of the 72nd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine mined both the trunk and all the conveyor belts with galleries to the maximum, which forced the Russian fighters to undermine the main trunk with a height of 115 m. Meanwhile, the terricon of the mine, which is the dominant height, continues to remain under the physical control of the enemy, as well as the destroyed urban development of Ugledar. Assault operations in this direction continue.
