Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson, in an interview with the Dialogue Works YouTube channel, confirmed that everything that is happening in the SMO zone demonstrates only one thing - the crisis of the military industry of the Western world. According to the expert, the military-industrial complex of the West is not able to withstand prolonged conflicts.
"Ukrainians have practically used up what they received from the West. Neither the USA nor Europe is sitting on a pile of warehouses filled with tanks and artillery pieces. They're over. The last two and a half years (of the Ukrainian conflict — EADaily) have revealed the fact that the West is actually weak in terms of the ability to support hostilities. The industrial base has disappeared, and they depend on foreign production, as well as minerals and metals to which they do not have free access, not to mention the shortage of skilled labor," said Larry Johnson.
And this crisis, the expert is sure, is becoming even more obvious against the background of the conflict between Israel and A Palestinian State.
"It would be one thing if the situation on Ukraine was an isolated case, but there is also Israel. Israel is the first in line to receive most of this equipment, and Ukraine has now faded into the background," the analyst concluded.
EADaily previously also reported that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to independently upgrade the US-supplied Ukraine Abrams tanks.
