Vladimir Zelensky awarded the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky with the rank of Colonel-General. The relevant order has already been published on the official website of the President of Ukraine.
"To assign the military rank of General to Colonel-General Alexander Stanislavovich Syrsky, Commander—in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the message says.
EADaily reminds that Syrsky has been heading the Armed Forces of Ukraine since February 2024.
