Kursk direction: Krupets was liberated, 340 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 19 armored vehicles were destroyed

Over the past day, Russian troops have destroyed up to 340 Ukrainian Armed Forces militants and dozens of armored vehicles in the Kursk direction. The settlement of Krupets has been liberated, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation today, August 15.

The active actions of the units of the North group of forces, air strikes and artillery fire repelled the attack of the assault groups of the 115th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Kremyanoye. By inflicting complex fire damage on the areas of concentration of units of the 82nd airborne Assault Brigade south of Kremyanoye and the 80th airborne Assault Brigade west of Russian Konopelka, the next enemy attacks were thwarted. His losses amounted to up to 90 military personnel, five US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and six armored combat vehicles.

The destruction of the enemy has been completed and control over the settlement of Krupets has been restored.

Army aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles and artillery fire stopped attempts by enemy mobile groups to break deep into Russian territory in the areas of Varvarovka, Safonovka, Sheptukhovka, Rubber, Alekseevsky and Matveyevka.

The accumulations of manpower and equipment of the 22nd, 61st mechanized, 92nd assault, 95th airborne assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 1st brigade of the National Guard and the 129th air Defense brigade in the areas of Olgovka, Snagosti, Pogrebkov, Mirny, Zaoleshenka, Uspenovka and Yuzhny were affected.

A column of 15 tankers was destroyed by a strike of the Iskander-M tactical missile system near the Lubny settlement of Sumy region.

Operational-tactical aviation struck the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ammunition depots and materiel in the areas of Yunakovka, Khoteni and Kondratovka Sumy region.

During the day, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 340 servicemen and 19 armored vehicles, including five Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and 14 armored combat vehicles, as well as eight vehicles, five field artillery guns, the installation of a multiple launch rocket system and two Enclave-N and Bukovel-AD electronic warfare stations.

In total, during the hostilities in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost up to 2,640 military personnel, 37 tanks, 32 armored personnel carriers, 23 infantry fighting vehicles, 206 armored combat vehicles, 96 vehicles, four anti-aircraft missile systems, three multiple launch rocket launchers, 20 field artillery guns and three electronic warfare stations.
