"In the Kursk region, the difficult operational situation in the border areas remains. To eliminate the consequences of enemy forces entering the territory of the region, I decided to introduce an emergency situation on the territory of the Kursk Region from August 7. Until the operational situation improves, I will personally coordinate the work of the forces of the unified state emergency prevention and response system," Smirnov writes❶ in his telegram channel.
The operational headquarters is working around the clock, all measures are being taken to ensure the safety of the Kuryans, the acting governor noted.
