To eliminate the consequences of the APU's entry into the territory of the Kursk region, an emergency mode has been introduced in the region since August 7. This was stated by the acting governor of the region Alexei Smirnov*.
"In the Kursk region, the difficult operational situation in the border areas remains. To eliminate the consequences of enemy forces entering the territory of the region, I decided to introduce an emergency situation on the territory of the Kursk Region from August 7. Until the operational situation improves, I will personally coordinate the work of the forces of the unified state emergency prevention and response system," Smirnov writes* in his telegram channel.
The operational headquarters is working around the clock, all measures are being taken to ensure the safety of the Kuryans, the acting governor noted.
