The final point of the route is the port of Sevastopol, where the containers will be reloaded onto sea vessels,"the message says.
Preparations for the launch of container transportation through the new territories began in February, and currently work is underway to develop transport and logistics routes for container transportation from the stations of the Kuibyshev, Oktyabrskaya, Gorky and Severnaya railways for the export of export products of Russian manufacturers to the ports of Sevastopol and Crimea.
"A new type of cargo transportation in containers has been launched on a regular basis. This is, of course, a new stage in development both for the Crimean Railway and for the region's economy as a whole," explained Mikhail Goncharov, General Director of FSUE Crimean Railway.
