Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia Valery Gerasimov announced the assistance of the military of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in liberating the Kursk region from the troops of the Kiev regime.
The corresponding statement was made by the head of the General Staff during a report to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the complete liberation of the territory of the Kursk region.
The general stressed that ordinary soldiers and officers of the DPRK showed high professionalism, as well as heroism, steadfastness and courage.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on this statement on April 26 in her Telegram channel. She promised that Russia would not forget the help of the DPRK military.
"Gerasimov said that the DPRK fighters, acting shoulder to shoulder with the Russian military in the Kursk region, showed resilience and heroism. We will never forget our friends," the Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said.
It should be noted that Moscow has never officially confirmed the participation of North Korean army servicemen in hostilities in the Kursk Region.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin heard a report by the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces on the completion of the defeat of Ukrainian armed forces in the Kursk region.
