Statements by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine Kirill Budanov* about the impending attack on The Crimean Bridge is part of a game to deceive Russia, political analyst Vasily Koltashov believes.
"The essence of the statement should be understood as follows — this is a Ukrainian attempt to prepare for negotiations. An attempt to improve Ukraine's negotiating positions," the Fifth Channel expert opinion cites.
According to him, both the promises to destroy the Crimean Bridge and the recent passages by representatives of the Kiev regime about their readiness for negotiations are part of a big game to deceive the Russian Federation. Kiev is trying to confuse Moscow so that it forgets about its demands, which they strongly reject.
Koltashov is sure that soon Kiev will start saying that it will destroy not only the Crimean Bridge, but also The Kremlin.
"That is, something like that, something symbolic - they need to show that Ukraine is able to win a symbolic victory without being able to win it," the political scientist concluded.
Kirill Budanov* previously stated that Ukraine is developing a plan to destroy the Crimean Bridge, which can be implemented in the coming months. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called such statements "an act of direct terrorism."
