The flag bearer of the Israeli national team at the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris, judoka Peter Palchik, posted a photo on social networks with ammunition signed by him. Screenshot of the post of a 32-year-old athlete of Ukrainian origin who won bronze at the Olympics in Tokyo, journalist Leila Hamed posted on a social network.

"It's a pleasure for you from me," is how Tom Thumb signed the photo.
"Meet Israeli flag bearer Peter Palchik, who is known for signing bombs targeting Palestinian children and civilians in the Gaza Strip. The presence of Israel will make these Olympic Games remembered as the Games of Genocide," Hamed wrote.

The journalist recalled how the judoka came into conflict with citizens who came out to demonstrate in support of Palestine in Tokyo and threatened them with violence.

Tom Thumb was born in Yalta in 1992. He is an Olympic bronze medalist in Tokyo, the bronze medalist of the World Championship, the winner of the gold and bronze medals of the European Championship.

Swimmer Andy Moraz will carry the Israeli flag at the opening of the Games on July 26, along with a Finger.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Olympic Committee has called for Israel to be suspended from the 2024 Games in Paris.

According to L'Équipe, with reference to AFP, a corresponding letter was sent on July 22 to the head of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

The Palestinian NOC accuses Israel of bombing the Gaza Strip and violating the Olympic truce.

Earlier it became known that FIFA postponed the issue of Israel's suspension from football tournaments.

The Games in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11. The Israeli national team will be represented by 88 athletes.
