The leading actress of the Perm Academic "Theater-Theater", People's Artist of Russia Lidiya Anikeeva, died at the age of 75. This is reported by the press service of the theater.
"Over half a century on stage, she has played more than 100 striking roles in dramatic and musical performances, demonstrating excellent stage skills, infectious emotionality, a rich plastic and intonation palette. Her professionalism and skills were based on the traditions of the Russian theater school and at the same time enriched by modern experience," the message says.

Lidiya Anikeeva was born on July 4, 1950. In 1973, she graduated from the Shchukin Theater School and joined the Perm Theater. She was the first on the Russian stage to play Alkmena in "Amphitryon" by the Brazilian novelist Guilherme Figueiredo, Francesca in the play "As before, but Better than before" by the Italian playwright Luigi Pirandello, Jocasta in "The Infernal Machine" by the French writer and poet Jean Cocteau. His last theatrical work was the role of Nell in the play "The End of the Game" (2021). Anikeeva also played in the films "Lyuboff" (1991) and "Chekhov in Yalta" (2010), in the TV series "Real Boys" Lydia Anikeeva got the role of Kolyan's class teacher.
