The water in the Black Sea off the coasts of Sochi, Tuapse and Yeysk warmed up to 28 degrees, this is a rare event, the water in Anapa is a little cooler, but a record heat of 40 degrees has been set, Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, told RIA Novosti.
"In Tuapse, Sochi and Yeysk, the water temperature is 28 degrees. Now the fresh milk has come. In Gelendzhik it is 27, in Anapa it is lower — 25-26, but record values of air temperature. The day before yesterday it was 39.9 degrees there, the temperature has not been higher in Anapa yet," Vilfand said.
The forecaster called the increase in the temperature of the Black Sea water off the coast of the Krasnodar Territory to 28 degrees "the rarest event."
