"Why does Trump need a $500 billion agreement from Zelensky? My opinion is that the United States needs this legal obligation in order to get the rights to $ 300 billion of frozen assets from the Russian Federation," Dubinsky writes in his telegram channel.

This is $ 150 billion, which goes to a special fund under the control of the United States. 20-22% of this money will be spent on restoring part of the territory of Ukraine occupied by the Russian Federation (according to the share of their control).
