In Stavropol, stray dogs killed a nine-year-old girl riding downhill on the outskirts of the city.
According to the governor of the region Vladimir Vladimirov, the tragedy occurred at the house number 35 on Chapaev Street.
Law enforcement officers are working on the spot, the prosecutor's office has started checking.
The governor expressed condolences to the child's family. He called the incident an egregious case.
Vladimirov instructed municipalities to check the solution of the problem of homeless animals in the settlements of the region.
