International summit on cryptocurrencies to be held in Uzbekistan

On April 28, the World Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Summit (WBC Summit) will be held in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, in which more than 50 countries and almost 100 organizations are going to take part.

More than 20 speakers from Kazakhstan, Latvia, the Netherlands, Israel, Bahrain, New Zealand, Australia, and Nigeria are expected to deliver reports. Russia will be represented by the secretary of the International Decentralized Association of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Maxim Chereshnev.

Participants of the meeting are to discuss vital issues ща the digital economy. It includes the issues of regulation and taxation, anonymity of the data, usage of blockchain technologies, mining, storage and exchange of cryptocurrencies. During the summit, Uzbekistan ICO Show is to be held where Uzbek projects will be presented.

According to IDACB, Uzbekistan is among the countries that swiftly increase their investment potential in blockchain technologies and ICO projects. The republic has been new to the subject of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, but now it is already forming its Investor Board.
