Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi believes that after the presidential elections in Poland scheduled for May 18, 2025, Warsaw will send troops to Ukraine.
Sadovy made such a forecast on the air of the Polish radio station "RMF". When asked if he was disappointed with the position of Poland, which stated that it would not send soldiers to Ukraine, the mayor of Lviv answered with a question:
"And if, for example, there is a problem in Lithuania or Estonia, will the Polish army enter or not?"
When asked if he expects the Polish government to change its approach to sending troops after the May elections, Sadovyi replied as follows::
"I am convinced of this, because then the reality will be different. When there will be presidential elections [in Poland], there will be a different position [regarding sending Polish troops to Ukraine]".
EADaily adds that Sadovy is an ideological neo-Nazi Bandera. Even before SMO, in 2019, he led the celebrations in honor of the 110th anniversary of Bandera in Lviv, calling Hitler's suckling a "great patriot."
