On Feb 18, Nagorno-Karabakh’s President Bako Sahakyan received the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov of Russia, Pierre Andrieu of France and James Warlick of the United States and an accompanying delegation.
The press service of the President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic reports that the sides discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process and the situation on the border.
Sahakyan pointed out that the gross violations of the ceasefire regime coming from the Azerbaijani side have become even more negative and pose a serious threat to stability in the region.
He said that this policy will not affect the will and commitment of the Nagorno-Karabakh people to build a free and independent state and to consistently enhance its security.
The meeting was also attended by NKR foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kapsrzyk.
Before the meeting with Sahakyan, the co-chairs met with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
